An Atlas of the Heart
In the sermon series we journey through the emotional landscapes of comparison, loneliness, fear, confusion, and more, as seen through the lens of Jesus’ life and ministry. Each week, we’ll explore a place where our hearts often wander, from the anxiety of overwhelming situations to the shame we feel when we fall short. Drawing on acclaimed researcher Brené Brown’s insights and the Gospels, we’ll connect these deep emotions with stories of Jesus’ temptations, His prayer in Gethsemane, the disappointment of Good Friday, and ultimately, the joy and wholeness found in the resurrection. This series invites us, this Lent, to reflect on the full range of our emotional experiences and discover how Christ brings healing and purpose to even our most difficult moments.
