Start Over

During the season of Lent we will be considering the areas in our life that threaten the development of our relationship with God and our relationships with one another. Lent is about the restoration and renewal of our life, a season where we pull up, tear down, and even demolish some areas of our life in order to start over. We’ll explore these themes by looking to the life of the prophet Jeremiah who was not only called to lead the people in their efforts to start over, but in many ways had to do this difficult work in his own life.

February 26 - Inadequacy - Jeremiah 1:1-10

March 5 - Despondency - Jeremiah 11:18 - 12:6

March 12 - Complacency - Jeremiah 7:1-15

March 19 - Intimacy - Jeremiah 15:10-21

March 26 - Obstinacy - Jeremiah 35
