On January 1, 2023 we were assigned a new bishop in the Northern Illinois Conference: Bishop Dan Schwerin.

Bishop Schwerin will visit our Prairie Central District on Wednesday, February 15. Laity from all churches are invited to join in a time of introduction, reflection, and conversation with our new Bishop.

The laity gathering with be from 7:00 - 8:30 PM at Sycamore United Methodist Church (160 Johnson Ave. in Sycamore).

If you are interested but are unable to attend on this day the Bishop will be meeting in our other districts on other nights. A full list can be found here.
